The National Defence Academy (NDA) 2025 examination, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), is scheduled in two sessions:

Eligibility Criteria:

• Age Limit:

  • Candidates must be between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age.
  • For NDA 1 2025, candidates should be born between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009.
  • For NDA 2 2025, candidates should be born between January 2, 2007, and January 1, 2010.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Army Wing: Candidates must have passed the 12th class examination from a recognized board or its equivalent.
  • Air Force and Navy Wings: Candidates must have passed the 12th class with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• Marital Status:

  • Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

• Gender:

  • Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply for NDA.

Application Process:

• The application process is conducted online through the UPSC official website.
• Candidates need to fill out the application form, pay the application fee, and submit the form before the deadline.

Selection Process:

1. Written Examination:

   • Paper 1: Mathematics
   • Paper 2: General Ability Test (GAT), which includes English and General Knowledge

2. SSB Interview:

   • Candidates who qualify the written examination are called for the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview, which assesses the candidate's personality, intelligence, and physical fitness.

Admit Card:

• Admit cards for the written examination are released by UPSC approximately three weeks before the exam date.

• General Ability Test: Stay updated with current affairs, read newspapers daily, and refer to standard textbooks for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, and Geography.
